I am a dynamic and passionate clinician, trainer, educator, and leader with an overall goal to be a part of the beautiful experience that occurs through educating, and mentoring others who have an interest in the mental health, substance use, & intellectual and developmental disabilities population. Having ten plus years of diverse experience working in the field both as an individual clinician, trainer and supervisor, program manager, and clinical development roles. I enjoy fostering highly collaborative relationships and environment’s in which learning and growth can occur. Taking the step to seek out counseling takes tremendous courage and vulnerability. My approach in counseling is holistic and considers the whole body, mind, and spirit. As a therapist I treat individuals, couples, and families regardless of race, sexuality, gender, religion, or ethnicity. Both professionally and personally, I believe that we all have what is necessary for true growth and change.

Throughout my childhood and even early adult years I was spoon fed a toxic version of religion, which didn't allow me to be my true self. I came out as a gay man and that has allowed me to work only myself, becoming more secure and confident in who I am, and learning through it all who were my true family and friends. It definitely was not an easy journey, but looking back I'm glad that I made the necessary steps to be who I am truly. Going through that difficult journey has made me as a therapist more excited to work with the LGBTQI+ population, black and brown individuals, men that are working to overcome toxic masculinity, etc.
