About My Clients
Feeling weighed down by life's challenges and hurdles? Feel like you're not performing at your full potential? You're in the right place. I offer a nonjudgmental and comfortable environment for folks to share their experiences. I specialize in working with clients experiencing life or family transitions, school or work-related stress, or relationship concerns.
My Background and Approach
A little bit about me... I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (IMH24144) and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (IMT3911). I earned a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College with an added certificate in Family and Relationship Counseling. I also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida. I am also certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy levels 1 & 2. I incorporate many techniques and approaches to counseling but emphasize operating from a systemic approach that takes into consideration all factors (identities, relationships, family of origin) that make you, you! I make it my number one priority to create a therapeutic space free of judgment and one that fosters trust, comfortability, and fun!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in having fun in life and translating that into the therapeutic experience. If you choose to work with me, you will experience a presence that fosters relatability and the ability to laugh at ourselves while navigating trials and working towards growth. I believe that it is a basic human right to be seen, heard, understood, and treated with respect and apply this to ALL individuals. I make it a point to participate in community actions that support the LGBTQ+ community.
