About My Clients
Every person is different, which is why I utilize a holistic approach to find the best fit for each client’s specific needs. I often work with neurodivergent individuals (autistic, ADHDers, AuDHDers, C-PTSD), 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, and those looking to explore the interplay of systemic and individual issues and dynamics.
My Background and Approach
I am a dedicated counseling intern with an M.A. in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling at Naropa University. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Arizona State University. I am passionate about bringing a neurodiversity-affirming and anti-oppressive lens to every client. The approaches I use include Gestalt, Transpersonal, Humanistic, Parts Work, Somatic, and Strengths-Based. I have completed additional coursework on autism as well as published several articles on the subject. I enjoy learning and am dedicated to continually educating myself through the evolution of counseling research and practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer, non-binary person, I am 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming and sex/kink-positive. As a late-discovered autistic person, I am passionate about bringing an affirming perspective to the therapeutic space and believe in the power of showing up as our whole selves. I am excited to work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds and identities. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and aim to work collaboratively with my clients. I am dedicated to creating a safe, open environment that allows clients the space for growth, discovery, and healing. My goal is to support my clients on their unique paths to change and transformation.
