About My Clients
Some seasons of life can be extra challenging, and asking for help can be hard to do. I can help you find peace and clarity amidst the storms of life. If you are in a transitional phase of life- perhaps considering separation or divorce, working through some intense family conflict, or finally facing childhood trauma- I can help. Whatever you are facing, I can support you as you learn to become empowered, assertive, and calm once again.
My Background and Approach
In addition to being a psychotherapist, I am a certified life coach and life-long learner. You are the expert of your life, and I am here as a guide through the storms. I value authenticity in relationships, and I value each encounter I have with my clients. I have been a therapist since 2014, and before moving into private practice, I worked for several community mental health agencies, in schools, and I provided in-home therapies to our most vulnerable populations. Additionally, I have experience working with clients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and with immigrant families. I am a life-long learner, and I value all members of our community. I strive to be inclusive, and I am open to feedback from my clients at any time. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EFT Tapping, IFS, and mindfulness approaches to meet you where you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I respect the life and journey of each client that I serve. Each of us is the author of our own life, and my most important goal is to help you reach your personal goals. You are the expert of your life, and I am here to witness and honor the journey of transformation that takes place in the therapeutic process. Your background, beliefs, values, and experiences are important to me. I will endeavor to honor whatever you bring to the therapy session.
