About My Clients
Do you feel sad, anxious, or isolated despite your best efforts? Or do you find yourself thinking that there must be one magical solution to all your problems, though it feels forever out of reach? If your attempts to solve your problems and soothe your pains aren't taking you far enough, I can help you move toward a more peaceful life. I enjoy helping people who struggle with feeling like their emotions are “too much,” either for themselves or the people around them.
My Background and Approach
I offer psychodynamic therapy, which can help you find peace and self-acceptance through an exploration of what brings you pain. I have experience providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and while that is not a modality I currently offer, I can support those who have benefitted from DBT and now wish to enter a more open-ended treatment. By creating a genuine connection and a sense of safety, we can bravely begin to uncover what your feelings are telling you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that real, long-lasting growth happens when you feel free to say anything that's on your mind. I encourage my patients to share the good, the bad, and the ugly in session.
