I am also an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist and have a passion for helping families who have been impacted by Autism. Being on the spectrum, as well as loving someone on the spectrum, presents a unique set of needs that I feel are best treated with compassion, patience and understanding. I believe that when working with this population it is important to place a significant focus on building on the strengths of the client and family.

My experience lies primarily in treating pre-teens, adolescents, and young adults. This work has included a great deal of family therapy. I have found a love for helping this population to navigate life’s challenges that range from social anxiety, trauma, and inappropriate boundaries. have over 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents who have or are currently struggling with boundary issues with others or who may be engaging in other concerning behaviors, including behaviors that may be reactive due to previous trauma. I am a certified trauma therapist and certified to treat individuals with poor physical boundaries.

I am passionate about helping others navigate difficult life circumstances to get to a place of healing and peace. My goal is to create an environment where clients can feel safe, heard, and validated. I believe even when treating an individual, considering the systems around them can be important to the healing process. I value approaching my clients from a strengths-based approach, primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I have a strong belief in Family Systems work.
