About My Clients
My ideal client is ready to heal and grow, whether struggling with substance misuse, spiritual or religious trauma, relationship challenges, or complex family dynamics. You seek a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore and overcome these issues. Together, we’ll work to uncover your strengths, heal past wounds, and build healthier relationships and a more fulfilling life. You recognize the need for change and are open to new perspectives in your journey toward well-being.
My Background and Approach
It takes time and courage to seek out a therapist. I'm honored you landed here. Inviting a therapist to walk with you in whatever season of life you're in is a privilege. I utilize IFS parts work, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), art and somatic techniques in my therapeutic approach. I view therapy as a co-creative space, where clients can bring up struggles in relationships (with friends, partners, family, etc.), life transitions, addiction/recovery, anxiety, spiritual/ religious trauma, or just struggles of the human experience in general and know they are in a nonjudgmental, safe space. My specialties include: religious/spiritual trauma, substance misuse, family/spouse conflict, LGBTQ+ issues (including family conflict/acceptance, transitioning, and relationships), and grief. I know how hard it is to search for a therapist that will be a good fit for the challenges that one has.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every individual, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status, deserves access to compassionate and culturally competent mental health care. I also believe in the inherent resilience of individuals and strive to create a therapeutic environment that fosters growth, self-discovery, and empowerment. These communities include: BIPOC, LGBTQ+ community, elderly, disabled, Marginalized communities, activists, those who have experienced trauma, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds.
