About My Clients
Do you say "yes" when you really mean "no"? Does it feel like you're screaming to be seen while others seem oblivious? The overwhelming feeling of being misunderstood in relationships can feel so isolating. You deserve to have what you need in your relationships. My clients leave sessions with an understanding of themselves, an excitement to meet their needs, and tools to reinforce boundaries with others.
My Background and Approach
Sue Johnson said, "Splendid isolation is for planets, not people". We thrive when we feel heard, seen, and supported. I use an attachment-based and mindfulness approach to help you understand your thoughts, feelings, and needs. I also provide you with tools to help cope in real-time. I have advanced knowledge and training in LGBTQIA-affirming care to provide a safe space for the diverse population I serve. My work outside of the therapy office includes the facilitation of couples' communication workshops, self-care and mindfulness workshops for burnout, and LGBTQIA trainings.
