About My Clients
I work with individuals and couples, focusing on bringing more love and compassion to your life and relationships. Individuals have worked with me to explore such things as anxiety, depression, trauma resolution, relationship worries, building boundaries, and CPTSD. I also work with couples and polycules to navigate and heal infidelities, build communication, develop intimacy, navigate trauma as a couple, transition from a monogamous relationship to an open one, and much more.
My Background and Approach
I believe that you are the author of your own life, and I am here to support you as you navigate the most difficult paths. Clinically, I hold a vision that you are whole and complete, just as you are -- and maybe need a few more tools to help build the life that you desire. I specialize in LGBTQ++ individuals, couples and polycules, and those that may be considering opening their relationship for the first time. Navigating differing attachment styles, trauma in relationships, infidelities, boundaries and codependency are specialties of mine.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My training and education is in Gender Studies, anti-oppression and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, and I bring that to my practice, acknowledging and exploring in sessions how your varying and intersecting identities might shape how the world sees and treats you, and how that shaped your thoughts and emotions. Patriarchal oppression affects the mental health of all who live under it, so I work clinically with ongoing curiosity and about how my identity and yours might impact our therapeutic relationship. Let's strive together towards healing and liberation, within and without.
