Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina

About My Clients

Are you feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, and burnt out? Do you often find yourself feeling isolated and believing that nobody truly understands you? It's possible that you've always had a sense of being different, and perhaps you've had to conceal your true feelings and authentic self in order to fit in and avoid standing out. Maintaining this facade requires an immense amount of effort, and now you find yourself on the verge of losing the very essence that makes you unique.

My Background and Approach

Elizabeth Pietzsch is a licensed counselor in the state of NC. She completed her undergraduate studies at Middle Tennessee State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with minors in Biology and Sociology. She then earned two Master’s Degrees at University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky – one in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and one in Addictions Counseling. Her approach is eclectic, holistic, and person-centered; she meets the individual where they are and adapts to the unique needs of those she has the privilege to work with. She is skilled in cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. If you're tired of feeling misunderstood and alone in a world that seems overwhelming, you're not alone. I'm here to provide a safe space where you can be YOU. Let's navigate the challenges together and discover the strength and beauty in your unique neurocognitive profile. Discover a safe space where you're truly heard and empowered to thrive.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every being should have equal opportunity. I support and am a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I'm an ally for the sex/kink community. I believe gender affirming care is suicide prevention. You should have autonomy over your own body and health. Neurodiversity is more than just ADHD and Autism. Recycle. Help a neighbor or friend if you're able to. We're all trying our best to obtain harmony in our lives. Being outside is some of the best therapy. Hugs have healing power. Hawaiian pizza with jalapenos is supreme.
