About My Clients
You're here because your pain—or your longing for something better—has outgrown old ways of coping. Therapy can help you understand these feelings, not just manage them. Change begins when we approach what hurts with curiosity instead of fear.
My Background and Approach
My therapy approach is respectful and candid. I bring with me not only my expertise, but also my compassion as a fellow human being who has sat on the other side of the therapy couch. I understand the courage it takes to be here. I believe that you are the expert on yourself; my role is to accompany and assist you in finding the answers you’re looking for. I approach therapy from a relational, psychodynamic perspective. It means that we will together take a deeper look at how you relate to yourself, and make sense of the world. We will then see about how you might shift these perspectives, and help you become more in touch with your creativity and sense of agency.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe change is possible. I believe that every human deserves respect and dignity across race, gender, sexuality, neurotype, body size and more.
