About My Clients

Maybe you are hard on yourself and yet you are still left feeling like, "I'm not enough." Perhaps you've been feeling disconnected from yourself and are ready to get to know yourself finally. The good news is, you are not alone and there is hope! My name is Dr. Gabrielle, and therapy with me can help you connect to your most authentic self and develop meaningful relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am currently serving clients throughout the state of Colorado via telehealth (virtual) services. I offer individual and couples therapy in addition to self-compassion workshops and burnout trainings. I am passionate about empowering my clients to discover ways they can live authentically and intentionally. My approach to therapy is one of warmth and curiosity. I aim to nurture therapeutic relationships that are safe, understanding, and genuine. Additionally, therapy can be tough work which is why I also enjoy using humor and self-compassion techniques in order to honor my clients’ challenges and achievements throughout our time together. I generally work from a feminist and person-centered lens while flexibly incorporating techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when appropriate. I prioritize collaboration with my clients in order to identify their goals and to ensure that they are getting what they want out of treatment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe starting therapy is one of the most courageous and compassionate things you can do for yourself. Even though it can feel scary, sometimes the best things in life happen when we take a chance and step out of our comfort zone. I would be honored to take that step with you! I am committed to providing therapy from a social justice and anti-racist lens and I am an LGBTQ+ affirming and Health At Every Size (HAES) therapist. I absolutely love the work that I do and I am honored to be trusted to hold this sacred space with so many amazing people. Through my own journey of self-compassion, balance, and self-care, I have built a sustainable practice that allows me to show up in the most present and authentic way I possibly can for my clients. My goal as your therapist is that you always get the therapy you want, need, and deserve. In order to do this, we will work together to clearly define your hopes and needs and tailor treatment to your therapy goals.
