About My Clients

I have experience and strength in working with 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, Chronically sick, Disabled, Neurodiverse, Children, Youth, Families, and Communities with a focus on cultural experiences, queer and trans, life transitions, and trauma recovery.

My Background and Approach

In my practice I work with children, teens, and adults who are having a hard time understanding, communicating about, and coping with their emotions and experiences. My therapeutic approach is rooted in a relational worldview that centers storytelling as a means to reclaim personal power and honor people’s unique experiences. I do this through narrative therapy, internal family systems, somatic inquiry, and solutions-focused therapy. It can be hard to find the words and language to understand and explain our experiences which is why I enjoy exploring world-building through art and play therapy activities.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a provider, I show up as my full self which means that my values of disability justice, gender justice, and racial justice paired with lived experience guide how I collaborate in building therapeutic containers. I believe that the social and political dynamics that exist shape our individual and collective experiences. These experiences inform what our areas of needed accountability, care, and growth are. I move through the world with curiosity and welcome feedback, questions, and interactive collaboration to assess whether we are compatible to work together.
