About My Clients
Are you neurodivergent and struggling to manage daily life? Navigating identity under societal pressures? Do you intellectualize your emotions and feel overly self-aware? Do you often feel shame about what you 'should' be doing? I work with clients facing similar challenges. Together, we work on executive functioning, building regulation strategies, identifying support needs, exploring identity, and healing complex trauma.
My Background and Approach
My approach is bottom-up, meaning I focus on the body's sensations to address distress before delving into cognitive processing. I use somatic therapy to help neurodivergent and CPTSD clients become more attuned to their bodies, enabling them to meet their needs and thrive in daily life. My work is informed by intersectional feminist principles, promoting healing within the context of systemic inequalities. I utilize a neurodiversity and gender-affirming approach, recognizing that each client is the expert on their own experience. With a holistic approach, I incorporate mind, body, and environment, and emphasize the importance of community in healing. Together, we work toward honoring your needs, ensuring you have tangible tools to regulate and cope with life’s challenges, and creating a life that aligns with your authentic self.
