About My Clients
I work with a wide variety of people who are all looking to find deeper meaning in their lives. Specializations include working with survivors of prolonged or complex traumatic stress, dissociation, multiplicity, survivors of religious abuse and high-control groups, k-12 teachers, & those who are looking to explore gender identity and neurodivergence in adulthood
My Background and Approach
Helping others heal is a true passion of mine. My goal is to help facilitate a healing experience that promotes lasting change and a greater sense of connection. Sometimes this requires we begin with some skill-building. Other times, it may involve quick immersion into experiential work - whatever is best for you. My approach to psychotherapy is experiential, relational, and psychodynamic in nature, grounded in current research on attachment, neuroplasticity, and the mind-body connection. I'm a student of Somatic Experiencing (advanced level), AEDP (Level 1), clinical hypnosis (ASCH Level 1 trained), and ISSTD's Professional Training Program. I also offer consultation services to other professionals who are looking for 1-on-1 conversations about complex clinical concerns related to experiential work, complex trauma, dissociative disorders (including DID), and working with trans, nonbinary, and neurodivergent clients at $125 per hour
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that when you truly meet someone in their experience, connection is inevitable. Connection within ourselves, between ourselves, and with land is healing. I believe that we heal together in relationships that are built upon mutuality, deep respect, and practices of solidarity. I believe that justice takes place when we offer support and recognize our interdependencies, not when we find better ways to punish. I believe that our best chance of collective survival is by undoing deeply-entrenched values and beliefs which are based in histories of racialization, global conquest, and colonization. I believe that all life is sacred and should be met with openness and care.
