About My Clients
I work with people ages 17 and up, with specialties in treating stress, anxiety, depression and trauma. I work best with people who are motivated in treatment, who want to decrease the impact of their symptoms on their personal lives, their professional lives and their relationships. People who want to live their best life. I love working with college students, teachers, health and healing professionals, and people living with chronic medical conditions and pain.
My Background and Approach
I can meet you as a therapist or offer complementary yoga therapy services to your already existing care. My passion is using the body to heal the mind, to gain awareness of your internal state, to decrease stress, and ultimately promote empowerment and wellness. I use an eclectic approach in therapy to promote healing, tailoring personalized interventions to the moment to help you reach your goals. I offer traditional talk therapy modalities as well as body based techniques of mindfulness, breath work, and trauma-informed yoga to cope better, increase self awareness, shed unhelpful patterns, heal, grow and thrive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we are never too stuck, too broken, too lost to find ourselves; to create new meaning once we set our minds to it. It is not an easy road to walk, but you are strong and you are worth it.
