About My Clients
I work with clients experiencing eating disorders, anxiety and depression, OCD, social anxiety, prenatal and postpartum challenges, and life transitions. My clients are creative, funny, often neurodivergent, and caring people who want to find meaning in their lives.
My Background and Approach
I’m a counseling intern and creative who spent 17 years living and working in NYC. I work from a Health at Every Size and LGBTQIA-affirming framework, and we can work together to help you find ease and meaning in your life. Therapy is like a dress rehearsal for real life: we can use our therapeutic relationship to learn about how you show up in the "real world" and practice the changes you want to see.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I've been involved in the anti-diet, HAES-informed, fat liberationist movement for years. I'm a feminist who is constantly working to improve my intersectional awareness. As a volunteer with NAMI MN, I visit public schools to teach high school students how to recognize signs of mental illness in themselves and others and where to go for help.
