About My Clients
You are stuck on autopilot, where every day feels the same. There is a sense of disconnect between your body and mind. This disconnection gets in the way of the life you want in so many ways. You aren’t the kind of friend you want to be. You feel like you are failing at love. Your confidence at work is tanking. If you’re ready to reconnect with your intuition, to rediscover that wild part of you that was always there, I invite you to take that first step. I’d love to help you get there.
My Background and Approach
I believe in a holistic approach to therapy that addresses the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. My therapeutic approach combines traditional talk therapy with somatic approaches to facilitate deep healing and transformation. Together, we will co-create a safe and supportive space where you can embrace curiosity, explore, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others. I am not the kind of therapist who will just nod along and tell you that you are right. I will take an active role in our time together- you will be (lovingly) challenged, you will laugh (I hope), cry, move around, and try new things to get to know yourself better. I show up with curiosity and a deep respect for your story. My ultimate goal is to help you not only alleviate immediate distress but also to cultivate long-term resilience , well-being, and self-trust. We will work on providing you with the tools, insights, and support you need to thrive in all areas of your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We all deserve to experience ease, joy, and pleasure. To laugh, explore, and play. To know what safety in our own body feels like. Life gets in the way and can leave us feeling disconnected and stuck. I know from firsthand experience that therapy can help us reconnect with the innate wisdom and trust of our bodies and minds. You are the expert on your story, but I believe my journey makes me uniquely capable of helping you navigate yours. Through my own therapy, I have come to reconnect with those parts of myself I thought had to be hidden away in order to be accepted. Your cultural context matters and the systems in which you exist are important in therapy. This space is LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, anti-racist, supportive of all consensual adult relationships, and operates from a HAES lens. I believe Chicago is the greatest city in the world (go White Sox), but you can often find me hopping a flight somewhere new. I enjoy reading, photography, being outside and movies.
