About My Clients
Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem or trouble managing everyday stress? You are not alone. I can help! If you are someone that tries to be everything for everybody this is a big step in prioritizing taking care of you. My goal is to provide a place where you can be open and talk about your thoughts and feelings. Ultimately learning tools to help you manage your emotions, heal from your past, navigate relationship issues, and grow in self-esteem.
My Background and Approach
Throughout my years of experience I have worked in the mental health field in a variety of settings. This has enabled me to learn how tailor treatment to meet your specific needs. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice. With CBT, we learn to look at how our thoughts affect our emotions and how we experience the world around us. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress toward change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a licensed mental health provider, who is also a member of marginalized communities my desire is to help normalize mental health care, provide support and validation to those that have felt like an "outsider" and ultimately aid my clients in becoming the best version of themselves.
