About My Clients
My clients are LGBTQ+ adults, trauma survivors, and those untangling complex family dynamics, religious trauma, or identity struggles. Many feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected, wanting a space to be seen, understood, and supported. They seek therapy not just to vent, but to grow, heal, and step into their most authentic selves. Whether unpacking childhood wounds or navigating big life changes, they’re ready to challenge old narratives and build a life that feels true to them.
My Background and Approach
I’m a lesbian, queer-affirming therapist with a deep commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their identity, heal from past wounds, and step into their most authentic selves. My background includes training in Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Trauma-Informed CBT, and Play Therapy, allowing me to tailor sessions to each client’s unique needs. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, trauma survivors, and those untangling complex family dynamics, religious trauma, or infertility struggles. My approach is warm, direct, and engaged—I’m not just here to listen, but to challenge, reflect, and support real growth. Therapy with me is about more than processing the past; it’s about rewriting your story, building confidence, and aligning your values with your choices. Whether you’re questioning your identity, healing from trauma, or seeking clarity, I’m here to walk that journey with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in equity, community, and care—for people, animals, and the world we share. As a lesbian and queer-affirming therapist with a background in community organizing, I advocate for trans rights, social justice, and the dignity of all individuals. My work is shaped by a deep commitment to community support, systemic change, and collective healing. I’m passionate about animal welfare and have fostered neonatal kittens, believing that all beings deserve safety and compassion. I support the Land Back movement and Indigenous sovereignty, recognizing the ongoing impact of colonization. As a vegetarian, I value ethical choices that align with my beliefs about minimizing harm. I see therapy as an extension of these values—a space where clients can feel seen, held, and empowered to reclaim their own story. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens in community, in connection, and with the support of those who truly see us.
