About My Clients
I have experience supporting those navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief and loss, gender and sexuality exploration, LGBTQIA+ identity, religious trauma, ADHD, and life transitions. If you are struggling to recognize & process your emotions, I would be honored to support you in learning more about yourself.
My Background and Approach
I am a community-centered, licensed clinical social worker with a background in photography. I have worked clinically with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of environments, from intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs to middle school to play therapy settings. I have training in Expressive Arts Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT+), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). I utilize a multifaceted therapeutic approach that includes these modalities as well as intersectional feminist theory, multicultural, and person-centered therapy. Through empathy, humor, creativity, and validation, I will help you increase your ability to understand, process, and communicate your emotions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
So many issues occurring in our individual experiences, interpersonal relationships, communal tensions, and global conflicts originate from a disconnect from our human emotions. I believe connecting to one another through community is one of the most sustaining things we can do for ourselves and our earth. I am passionate about equitable access to healthcare and housing, and I believe every person has the right to bodily autonomy. I operate from an anti-racist lens and I continually advocate for a free Palestine.
