About My Clients
I find myself and my area to be a warm and safe space for my clients to come and talk their honest, open truth and feelings about themselves without experiencing judgement but also knowing that they will be able to grow from attending therapy with me by being able to learn and develop skills to overall better their lives in positive aspects.
My Background and Approach
I use and implement a Person-Centered approach with interventions stemming from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy, & aspects of Art Therapy. My approach is to develop awareness because having awareness is key, as well as developing confidence and self-esteem. This is the foundation of promoting a positive mindset and outlook in our lives. We will develop tools collaboratively to improve awareness to increase the struggles you are are experiencing with your mental health, and potentially physical health. Guided Exposure Therapy can and will be implemented when necessary to assist in overcoming symptoms of trauma that you may be experiencing such as avoidance, paranoia, and/or anxious/negative thoughts.
