About My Clients

My clients typically come from diverse socioeconomic, gender, and racial backgrounds. Many clients work with me to address their experiences of trauma, including emotional, psychological, religious/spiritual, narcissistic, physical, and sexual abuse. My clients are neurodiverse, creative, intelligent, and may be highly sensitive people. I support my clients in addressing their mental health symptoms, including anxiety & depression, while processing underlying trauma and emotional dysregulation.

My Background and Approach

I use an integrative approach to counseling that is completely tailored to the needs of my clients. My methods may include CBT, person-centered, and trauma therapy modalities, such as ART. I support my clients by helping them to process their experiences and underlying trauma; reduce feelings of shame; develop awareness and insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; and reframe, normalize, or make new meanings related to their experiences and identity. I help my clients to release old memories, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may no longer serve them so that they can begin to live the lives they desire.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a feminist counselor and have a multicultural/multiracial family. I am a part of and advocate for the LGBT+ community. I believe strongly in social justice, ecological justice, and equality.
