About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, and adults. My clinical work includes case management, individual therapy, family counseling, marital therapy, and psychoeducation. In addition, my experience lies in working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, anger management, parenting education, children's behavioral issues, and relaxation/mindfulness.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Social Worker, I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work (2020) and a Master's degree in Social Work (2021) from Rutgers University. I applied my studies to clinical internships, which took place at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen in New Brunswick, and Perth Amboy. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I pride myself on consistently attending new trainings and webinars to stay educated and informed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is not a one size fits all approach. Instead, clinicians need to meet each individual where they are and tailor their approach to meet the unique needs of everyone. As a result, there is not one modality I prefer to use with my patients. Rather, I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based approach, and other evidence-based practices to best treat each individual.
