About My Clients
Topics that tend to challenge us in any relationship (with self or partner) revolve around six areas: Sex, Intimacy, Time, Space, Money, and Information. People trade off security for nurturance and vice versa. No matter the gender or sexuality, TRUST is the thing that gets negotiated everyday, beginning with our (lack of) belief in ourselves when changes occur in any relationship- be it at home, at work, or in the community. Fear and Trust are the two biggest motivators in people.
My Background and Approach
I am certified in Affirmative Therapy and trained in Narrative, Collaborative Language Systems and Solution Focus. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a nature enthusiast, beachcomber, community volunteer, LGBTQ elder, LGBTQ youth advocate, animal lover, and voracious reader. I have successfully managed to kick the social media habit completely; and am a perennial optimist and lifelong learner. Through my own failed attempts, I have come to learn that life is too brief to give it away to unconsidered choices or relationships that lack reciprocity.
