I approach therapy with an immigrant, LGBTQIA+, and sexworker inclusive scope. I have been a part of these communities and am honored to be in a position to help my community thrive. Under my care, you can expect a nonjudgemental therapist who values what his clients' goals are. I believe therapy should not be stressful, but rather a journey of growth.
My Background and Approach
I utilize Client Centered Therapy (CCT), which gives my clients the power to make therapy what they want of it, with a safe and affirming environment. I also incorporate aspects of mindfulness and DBT when relevant to my clients. I offer couple's therapy and focus on creating healthy relationships that can thrive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Identity can be confusing and that’s ok. You don’t need to have everything figured out in order to live as your authentic self. I am an immigrant trans man and I understand the nuance of negotiating culture and queerness. I will gladly help you celebrate all of your identities in a way that feels correct to you. I know how important it is to create a safe, validating, and affirming environment for my clients and I strive to do so, taking into account the unique needs of every individual I work with.
