About My Clients
I help teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, body image, self-esteem, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), and ADHD as well as individuals exploring themselves in their sexuality, sexual orientation, relationship structure, and gender identity to live at ease with authenticity, peace, and liberation.
My Background and Approach
I use a trauma-informed, social justice-oriented, holistic approach to process past and present experiences, develop positive coping skills, enhance self-esteem and self-compassion, navigate life transitions, and explore barriers as well as pathways to holistic well-being. I incorporate mindfulness and movement practices with clients and work from a strength-based, feminist, and person-centered approach. Clients find the most powerful and congruent changes by pulling from their own values, beliefs, and strengths. I believe that we each have the right to explore and become our truest selves, and I hope to join you in creating and aligning with the changes and goals that you want.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a member of the LGBTQIAP+ community and as a polyamory/non-monogamy-affirming, sex worker-allied, and kink-affirming therapist. I believe that identity, values, and desires are to be nurtured and honored with expansion and free from shame. Feeling safe and supported to bring one’s truest and most raw self to a therapeutic environment encourages lifelong development. I cultivate the space for clients to move from positions of justification and explanation toward a life aligned with their whole and healed selves.
