With certifications in Progressive Counting (PC) and training in EMDR and the Flash Technique, I guide clients in processing both "big T" and "little t" traumas. With training in EMDR, Progressive Counting, and mindfulness techniques, I guide clients in understanding the root causes of their symptoms and developing tools to regulate their nervous system. By creating a safe, supportive space, I help clients process fears, reduce overwhelm, and build resilience, empowering them to regain control and find lasting calm.

I integrate theories like DBT and CBT into sessions to help clients develop practical tools for managing emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Using CBT, we identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, replacing them with healthier perspectives. With DBT, I teach skills like distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and mindfulness to build resilience and improve coping. This blend allows clients to navigate challenges, reduce overwhelm, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

I incorporate ACT and Polyvagal Therapy to help clients build flexibility and regulate their nervous systems. With ACT, we focus on accepting difficult emotions, clarifying values, and taking committed action toward meaningful change. Polyvagal Therapy helps clients understand their body’s stress responses and develop tools to move from survival states to safety and connection. Together, these approaches empower clients to navigate challenges with greater awareness, balance, and resilience.

I use EMDR, Progressive Counting, and the Flash Technique to help clients process and resolve trauma safely and effectively. EMDR reduces emotional distress by reprocessing traumatic memories through bilateral stimulation. Progressive Counting gently guides clients through memories to decrease their intensity. The Flash Technique provides a rapid, non-intrusive way to reduce distress without directly focusing on the trauma. These methods support healing, nervous system regulation, & empowerment.
