I'm glad you are here. Confronting habits that suppress your true values, needs, and desires in demanding systems and relationships is incredibly difficult. It is also the bravest and most commitment you can make to yourself. You may be here because of self doubt, identity confusion, people-pleasing, family conflict, perfectionism, body image, or caregiving burnout. My role as a therapist is creating a safe environment to hear you, see you, and empower you to live authentically.
My Background and Approach
Through examining relationship patterns, attachment styles, and nuances of culture/identity/oppression, you can be empowered to get "unstuck" and be true to your needs. Tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness-based self-compassion are used to enhance progress. I also provide gender affirming letters and one-time wellness consultations.
