About My Clients
Asking for help from another person can be hard, but I see it as a sign of strength. Whether you have reached a point of crisis in your life or are simply looking for a safe space to explore your inner world, I want to help. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship issues, or are feeling stuck and frustrated by painful patterns that keep repeating in your life.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy from a depth-oriented perspective, which means that we look under the surface of things to get to the root and put the healing there. My goal is to help you to shed old defenses and shift unconscious patterns so you can reclaim your innate sense of wholeness and belonging once again. This approach can help you to uncover your true authentic self, by remaining rooted in the present while processing wounds from the past that have been kept hidden in the dark. I see this as a collaborative approach, and I will empower you to trust yourself and your psyche as we go through the process of therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I consider myself a spiritually-minded person and often incorporate this into my therapy work. I also weave in mindfulness practices and somatic techniques to help get you more into your body. I find as a society we often over-rely on our brains and can learn to trust the wisdom in our bodies more. I am LGBTQ+ affirmative and strive to be a culturally-competent therapist. I know that I don't know everything and I work hard to remain open to new ideas, values, and beliefs.
