About My Clients

I specialize in working with the polyamorous/ENM populations, the kink community, the trans clients, and clients living in marginalized bodies. I provide relational and individual therapy for people ages 14-40. I work with clients experiencing major life transitions like reconsidering your relationship structure, navigating estrangement or reconnection, welcoming a new family member or saying goodbye, career shifts, and everything in between.

My Background and Approach

It is important to me that you feel anchored in my presence, and that you can also trust me to give it to you straight. We are also going to take it sloooooow - pausing, reflecting, and being present with the big and small feelings that we unearth in this work together. No two journeys in therapy are alike, but we usually start to feel the magic once we have developed our own connection as client and clinician. This is why it’s so important that we vibe - that we develop genuine trust, care, and respect for one another in this process, so that you can unlock the freedom and empowerment of the therapeutic relationship. My work is guided by the belief that we each possess an intuition that will guide us toward a life of deeper alignment, but this intuition is often clouded by societal influences. I guide clients toward a deeper alignment between intuition and action by cultivating the mind-body connection and using that presence to nurture and harness our intuition.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a fat therapist, I embrace a fat-affirming and HAES-informed approach to care with all clients. I also bring a systemic lens to my work, in which we examine your individual experience through the lens of the many identities you hold, and how they interact with systems of privilege and oppression. This includes being aware of and holding my own identities throughout our work together.
