About My Clients
Do you ever feel like it takes extreme energy to just get out of bed? Does the memory or grief of someone you love hit you out of no where? I know what that feels like, feeling out of control like the world might just swallow you up. It can be scary, and extremely lonesome. I’m here to tell you that we are in this together and can navigate the waters together. We can find the balance again and you can be back in control.
My Background and Approach
I have been helping people just like you navigate their lives in all types of settings: community health, individual therapy, inpatient, and crisis work. I use a person-centered, trauma informed narrative approach to understand you better to help you identify where the work needs to be done. When it’s time to do the work I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help you challenge those negative thoughts to trigger the emotions and behaviors you want to change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You are the expert of you life and story. I am here to merely coach you through the journey. I believe that you have the power to change and have the life you wish! I am a LGBTQ+ and Indigenous therapist. I have been through a journey similar to yours and know that it take a lot of harm work and dedication.
