My Background and Approach
I provide a compassionate, empathetic approach to therapy while deeply honoring collaboration and honesty between myself and my clients. I see the therapeutic relationship as one of the most powerful agents of change. My style is calm, open, and nonjudgmental. As a therapist, I want to hold space for you to feel all your feelings, even the ones you may not recognize or identify yet. I am also transparent and utilize a kind of directness. In addition to listening, I aim to provide supportive feedback and collaborate with you around the tools needed to foster change and create a more fulfilling life. I believe that each person is the expert in their own experience, therefore I customize my work to meet your needs and goals of therapy, utilizing a blend of Internal Family Systems, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Attachment, and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches and modalities. We'll work together to determine what will be the best utilization of our time.
