About My Clients
My expertise includes a focus on sexual, gender, and cultural identities as well as addressing trauma, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal relationship issues. I also have a background in exploring white privilege and addressing unconscious prejudice.
My Background and Approach
I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at LIU-Brooklyn and my postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University. In addition to my private practice, I also provide clinical supervision and treatment at Lenox Hill Hospital. In therapy, I focus on building a trusting and open relationship with clients through an affirming framework of anti-oppression and liberation. Through a psychodynamic, feminist, and anti-oppressive approach, we will explore the interpersonal and historical factors contributing to your suffering and explore what liberation could feel like. I collaborate with clients to help them gain insight into the nature of their difficulties and relationships and support them in self-empowerment to move through life with more freedom, consciousness, and a deeper connection to others.
