About My Clients

I am proud of my profession in nursing; I believe that nurse practitioners bring a little something extra to this field. Kind and compassionate bedside manner and effective listening skills are values I developed early on, and I feel comfortable making connections with folks from any background. I provide sessions that are surrounded by respect and non-judgment, and what I find most rewarding is when a client says that I made them feel comfortable sharing their experiences with me.

My Background and Approach

An open mind and the ability to recognize my role as a lifelong learner are two strengths I take pride in. I understand that I sometimes don't understand, but I will always take the time to listen and learn. I believe we are all experts in ourselves, so I am ready to learn more about you! I am intentional about leaving any biases at the door, as I realize we all bring a unique perspective with different experiences into every situation. I take pride in getting feedback that folks feel truly listened to and comfortable during their time with me.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a proponent of utilizing treatments such as evidence-based therapies and medications as tools. I believe that having a strong set of tools allows an individual to face adverse situations with confidence and readiness. I am happy to offer medication management as well as therapeutic processing sessions to unpack any topic with you that you are interested in exploring.
