About My Clients
I focus my work with members of marginalized communities to collaborate in confronting oppression, finding repair after trauma, and integrating identity development into the healing process. I have experience working with clients navigating problems related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, personality disorders, stress, high-performance pressure, relationships, life transitions, pregnancy and postpartum, disordered eating, and substance use.
My Background and Approach
I use a sociocultural and trauma-informed lens in my work with individual adult and adolescent clients using evidence-based approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Humanistic Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value having authentic, connective relationships with people. I’m a therapist because I believe that we all have what it takes to live a full, connected life, despite the problems we face when we receive the support we need. My goal is to create a safe space for you to keep it real and explore who you are. What’s your story and how does it impact who you are?
