Anxiety and stress are real problems that end up killing American's by the droves. It can range from debilitating to mild, and there's no amount of "enough" stress and anxiety to need or deserve therapy. There is a definition of "clinical Anxiety" which is not as important as your experience of wanting less stress, less panic, and fewer stress wrinkles. Mindfulness works, I'll recommend we do that together, and you do it between sessions. Feeling matter too, so we'll practice feeling them.

A clinical diagnosis of Anxiety is not as important as you wanting less stress, less panic, and fewer stress wrinkles. Mindfulness works, I'll typically recommend we do that together, and you do it between sessions. Feelings matter too, so we'll practice feeling them, with less and less overwhelm.

Depression, sadness that goes on and on, feeling nothing, and being lonely. Feeling just rotten basically. Yuck. Mindfulness of our thoughts about these feelings, about ourselves, and about our life, and also experiencing these feelings without judging or avoiding them, that's what I typically recommend. We'll practice together. Adding medication can help you win the daily motivation vs despair battle, so you can also add exercise, socializing, time outdoors, basically getting your life back.
