About My Clients

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Trying to keep your head above water? Do you need a space where you can be seen, heard, and valued? I can help. I'm here to offer you a sanctuary of warmth, understanding, and acceptance. In my cozy corner of the universe, judgment, shame, and stigma are left at the door. The folx I work with are exploring what it means to live in a neurodiverse world and learning to understand their unfolding selves.

My Background and Approach

I've been a therapist for over a decade, and I've been in the helping professions since 2000. I use strength-based, affirmative, and neuroscientific theories to guide us, but healing doesn't happen via theory. It lies within you- your hopes, hardships, successes, and infinite wisdom. My mission is to help you feel deeply understood and connected as you gain awareness of how your thoughts, emotions, and body are interconnected. Take a break from your hectic day and find a relaxing space where you can virtually come to learn to maximize your strengths, minimize your fears, and increase your confidence. As an expressive arts therapist, I’ve been trained to find additional approaches towards healing which may include the arts. My style is relational, collaborative, and informed. I am an approved supervisor for those pursuing LMHC licensure and for licensed clinicians who would like supervision. *I also provide gender-affirming treatment letters.*

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Recovery and healing are possible. We all have struggles that we've come against in this life. You are the expert of your life and your experience. Racism, homophobia, and sexism are hardcore capital-T Traumas. Even the strongest of us need support in forcing our inner critic to quiet down and move out of our way. I work from an inclusive model. As a therapist, I have the responsibility to actively work to combat systems that perpetuate harm, inequality, and oppression. This work requires ongoing self-reflection, education, and a commitment to challenge my own biases and privileges. By creating a safe and inclusive environment, I hope to support individuals in exploring the impact of oppressive systems on their mental health and well-being.
