About My Clients

I have experience addressing gender/identity, behavior problems, trauma, ADHD, video game play, connections to media, attachment and relationships, interpersonal conflict, depression, anxiety, chronic stress, recovery/addiction, sexual problems, ethical non-monogamy, and more.

My Background and Approach

I have developed my career around integrating individuals' media passions into my therapy work. I am interested in how we can use tech to improve health. I am passionate about understanding individuals' intersectional identities and how to empower them to live fully. Though geek therapy is my specialty, I do not only seek geek clientele. My interest is to empower and support my clients - to work together and personalize their therapy to suit them individually. I work to provide a safe and productive space for clients to overcome adversity, and care deeply about understanding each person's diversity in identity and presence. I strive to remain open to and aware of my biases. I enjoy becoming creative in selecting my interventions - considering no single therapy technique useful for every person. My style is direct and I like to explain concepts by using contextual examples. I tend to be considered open, flexible, and acknowledging by previous clientele.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am passionate about supporting and uplifting others, particularly in the games non-profit space. When I'm not providing therapy, I work with Take This as a Clinical Contributor. Take This is a mental health advocacy and education non-profit that serves the games community and industry. I also serve as the Director of Programming for Queer Women of Esports. QWE is known for its mentorship program, and is a nonprofit dedicated to making competitive gaming a more inclusive place for LGBTQ+ and marginalized gender individuals.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
