About My Clients
I have extensive experience working with people who have chronic illness, anxiety, depression, women’s/men’s issues, and a variety of other mental health conditions. I utilize an integrated approach, but my foundation is in the evidence based treatment, psychodynamic therapy. I assist my patients by helping them understand how past hurts, traumas, and relationships are impacting them today. I believe that understanding our patterns and the way we relate to others can be incredibly freeing.
My Background and Approach
I received my doctoral degree from Chestnut Hill College in Pennsylvania. I have worked in community mental health, outpatient counseling, college counseling, and I spent two years in a hospital setting where I worked in the role of chief psychology student. Knowing yourself, having love and care for yourself, and gaining the skills to nurture yourself are empowering experiences I hope to help you achieve. We can all get stuck in ruts every now and then. I hope that together we can find a more confident and empowered version of yourself who feels ready to take on anything life has to offer. Helping people is my biggest passion in life. I believe that finding a therapist who values and honors your authentic self is a key factor in healing. We all deserve someone who will care for us without conditions. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to come for refuge, release, peace, and connection.
