About My Clients
My clients are every day people dealing with life's curveballs. I love working with clients who are ready to look back at the past to make sense of the present. Are you tired of feeling judged, discouraged, and overwhelmed? Do you feel as if your past hurts, struggles, or trauma have you stuck? I get it, life is hard! Through our work together you will learn new tools to build the resilience needed to deal with all of life’s difficulties and live your best life.
My Background and Approach
My own experience combined with evidence based practices have allowed me to walk alongside some amazing folks through the growing process. My goal is to empower you to feel brave enough to do the hard work of understanding and making sense of your pain and your past. Your job is to decide what works best for you. Clients often find that doing so helps reduce and manage symptoms of depression and anxiety, improve relationships, draw stronger boundaries, and change behavioral patterns. I am relational, direct, and client centered. We'll work collaboratively to address what's bothering you right now, while searching for patterns from the past.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care. So, there's no pressure for you to trust me in the first session or even the first five sessions. You set the pace and when you are ready to deep dive into the struggles that are stealing your joy, we dive. Everyone has something wonderful, amazing, and uniquely themselves.
