About My Clients
There is light at the end of the tunnel. Often it is hard to see. Sometimes the issues we are dealing with can feel like they are crushing us. The cycle of depression and anxiety might feel never-ending. It can get better! These issues could stem from traumatic life events. Perhaps we are just overwhelmed juggling work, life, and family, and have lost sight of ourselves. We all need a little help and guidance at times. I use an integrative approach to assist clients navigating difficult times.
My Background and Approach
I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD or PTSD and more. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. We'll work together to find the best tools for addressing what is bothering you at the moment. You won't be alone in exploring difficult periods of your life. I am here to support and help you through. One of the things I love about EMDR therapy is that does not require a lot of talking. So If you're struggling with something that is hard to verbalize, you don't have to explain everything in order to find healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe: You are here for a reason. Healing is possible. We can overcome our fears. Exploring difficult times can be empowering and provides opportunities for deeper learning and life enrichment. There are many paths to healing. The LBGTQ+ community enhances our lives. In genuine relationships. Being yourself is the only way to be. In standing up for others.
