About My Clients
My ideal clients are adults and couples (18+) from all walks of life, including 2SLGBTQIA+ and anyone navigating life's everyday stresses. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, or simply trying to find balance, I’m here to support you with compassion, understanding, and a personalized approach that fits your unique needs. I’ll work alongside you to help you reach your goals, but you’re in control—you set the pace and decide what matters most to focus on!
My Background and Approach
I have experience treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, adjustment issues, and more, but I’m especially passionate about working with couples, trauma, and stress- helping clients build healthy coping strategies and prioritize self-care. As a Gottman-informed counselor, I enjoy helping partners strengthen communication and connection. Since each client is unique, I tailor my approach to your specific needs, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centered, behavioral, and holistic interventions to support healing and growth. At the heart of my work is a genuine belief that your uniqueness is what makes the world truly beautiful. Through empathy, warmth, and evidence-based care, I'll strive to help you navigate life’s challenges while embracing your strengths and core values. I am looking forward to working together with you toward healing, growth, and fulfillment!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a military spouse and mom of 3, my family and I have experienced life across the country and internationally. These adventures have deepened my appreciation for diverse cultures, perspectives, and the resilience of the human spirit. I bring this understanding into my practice, creating a space where all individuals feel seen, valued, and supported. With a background in health coaching and wellness, my perspective has evolved over time—I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We don’t have to fit into societal standards or compare ourselves to people who seem to have it all together. There’s something incredibly freeing about embracing who we are, loving ourselves as we are, and living life in a way that feels right for us! Opening up about your life isn’t always easy, but you are not alone! Having faced my own trauma and loss, I’m deeply committed to truly seeing and hearing you. Healing is powerful, and you are strong—not in spite of what you’ve endured, but because of it!
