In times of crisis, we can easily judge ourselves and be overly critical. In our work together, I encourage an attitude of curiosity and gently help you identify and move through the “stuck points” that keep you from feeling safe.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is caring, collaborative and action oriented in a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework. If you’ve experienced a profound life experience, I know how empty, lost, and alone you may feel. I am passionate about treating trauma using self-compassion skills and mindfulness-based techniques to help you move past guilt and become more accepting and present. I believe that recovery is possible, even from the most painful experiences. I work closely with my clients to regain strength and develop strategies to move forward and find happiness again.
