About My Clients
My best work is with individuals who are trusting in the process while also eager to make change. Therapy is not necessarily a sprint to the finish line. Some of the ways in which we experience the most growth are sometimes the hardest. It means you may get uncomfortable & experience what it means to be completely vulnerable. I enjoy working with those that are often left wondering why they do certain things, think in unhelpful ways or find obvious patterns that show up with not so obvious ways.
My Background and Approach
I focus on establishing a therapeutic alliance by creating a safe space for growth and healing. Being able to witness your ability to become self-aware and to recognize your resiliency is something that makes this work meaningful to me. I am an LCPC and received a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University Chicago. I come from a very diverse background in mental health services. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I utilize a holistic and eclectic approach focusing particularly on acceptance, gratitude, and mindfulness in an effort to regain meaning and purpose. I believe strongly in creating an environment that is conducive to the growth of each unique individual and experience.

Whether it’s becoming more attuned to your emotions, processing your past, or the influence of your family on how you function, we will build insight and awareness that is effective at making change and fosters healing. If you are finding yourself feeling lost, confused, and struggling then you are in the right place. Together, we can work to achieve a sense of centeredness and self-awareness that can lead you to beautiful things you may have a hard time imagining right now. Sometimes you cannot do your hardest work alone and I can be alongside you for that journey.
