About My Clients
I am a licensed clinical social worker, who received my master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California (2009). I returned to school to pursue my doctorate in clinical psychology; I earned another master’s degree, this time in psychology, before receiving my PhD in 2019. I published my dissertation, and it has been downloaded over 100 times throughout the world; my focus was on adolescents, self-harm, and social media.
My Background and Approach
I currently work as a mental health provider, serving various populations, from children through older adults. I have provided therapeutic services for LGBTQ individuals as well as transgender people (transitioning). I have worked with incarcerated people, both adolescents and adults in high security settings. I've facilitated groups for anger management, parenting, co-parenting, and batterers intervention (court-ordered).
