About My Clients

You want to wake up excited about your day, your work, and believing in the dream. You need someone that can challenge old belief systems and help you get out of your own way. It isn't easy, but it is worth the work. We will sort through the past, learn to be present, and find balance for your future. If you are looking for a healing process that is individualized to you, insight-driven, and supported by an intuitive, creative therapist, then contact us today!

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist. I established this practice to create an environment that facilitates a sense of freedom, innovation, and acceptance for your uniqueness and process of healing. The process of transformation and growth is not one-size-fits-all, and so neither should be your therapy experience. At InTouch & Motion, our team of counselors and creative arts therapists strive to help you find the right balance of support and opportunities to meet your needs. Our range of counseling and services-- psychotherapy, dance/movement therapy, art therapy, and intuitive wellness, are available in English, French, Japanese, Haitian Creole and American Sign Language.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have a passion for performance-as-therapy, knowing the experience of being witnessed and/or witnessing others’ truths can be uniquely healing. I began my clinical professional career working at non-profit agencies with trauma survivors, foster care, and military veterans before transitioning into private practice in 2014. I have a special interest in working with trauma survivors and have completed the 40-hour sexual assault training through the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault, among other training on trauma-informed care. I have also completed the evidence-based Nurturing Parenting Program training in order to better serve families. I am a member of the American Dance Therapy Association and have presented my work to local and national audiences. I received the 2012 Alumni of The Year Award from Columbia College Chicago’s Department of Creative Art Therapies, for my work and contributions to the DMT field.
