Her passion is in working with individuals ages 14 and up who struggle with life transitions, wellness, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, self-esteem, relationships, and trauma-related issues.Britney is under the supervision of Anjelica Nelson, MAEd., IMFT-S, LPCC-S. She is truly excited for you to begin your journey towards healing.
My Background and Approach
She utilizes interventions such as ACT, DBT, CBT, MBCT, narrative therapy, and strengths based therapy. She graduated with her bachelor of science degree in psychology and minor in communication at the Ohio State University in 2022 and her master of art in education degree in clinical mental health counseling at Capital University in 2024.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Britney is honored to work alongside a client during their journey of growth, acceptance, and self discovery. Britney warmly welcomes anyone who is committed to wanting self-improvement and enhancing their life experience. Britney prioritizes building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship to allow an individual to be open, safe, and heard when exploring and experiencing their thoughts. Britney is originally from Canfield, OH and was in Columbus, OH the last five years of her life. She is excited about starting a new chapter in Cleveland, OH! When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family/friends, working out, traveling, watching new shows/movies, and trying new things. She has a history of working in a private practice with all ages and populations, in a community behavioral health agency with individuals aged 18 - 30, and at a residential eating disorder treatment facility with individuals aged 12 -18.
