I am a queer therapist who believes you have the right to exist peacefully and safely. I have experience working with the entirety of the LGBTQ+ population, but of course only one lived experience. I'm here to learn what it means for you to belong, and how your journey is unique.

I work with partners through conflict, premarital counseling, values integration, monogamy/polyamory, neurodivergence, and sexuality, just to name a few topics! You do not have to be in crisis to seek out relationship counseling, in fact proactive relationship counseling is fantastic!

I am a therapist with OCD who treats OCD with ERP. I especially enjoy working with clients to understand how their relationships and interactions with others influence their OCD reassurance cycles. I find that in my work with couples, OCD becomes a barrier to connection if not appropriately addressed, so I enjoy integrating this treatment into relational work.

Relational therapy, sometimes referred to as relational-cultural therapy, is a therapeutic approach based on the idea that mutually satisfying relationships with others are necessary for one's emotional well-being.

Emotionally focused therapy (EFT) is a short-term psychotherapy approach that helps people improve their emotional connections with themselves and others. It's based on the idea that emotions are central to our experiences and relationships, and that if we activate and work through our emotions, we can change problematic emotional states and relationships. EFT can be used with individuals, couples, or families. EFT is based on attachment theory, which emphasizes the importance of connection.

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of psychotherapy that helps people with mental health conditions that cause them to have difficulty regulating their emotions. DBT is based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and is designed to help people learn skills to manage their emotions, improve relationships, and avoid harmful behaviors. There is a focus on mindfulness, emotional processing, and values integration.

As a therapist who both treats and has OCD, I understand how it can effect your quality of life and relationships. I will collaborate with you to create your unique ERP treatment plan and find relief that allows you to feel safer with yourself, and also with your loved ones.
