About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I offer outdoor, walk and talk sessions in the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire as well as Telehealth for Maine and New Hampshire residents. My therapeutic approach is strengths based, trauma-informed and client-centered. I specialize in EMDR, parts work, attachment based, mindfulness, and somatic therapies. Nature based sessions facilitate embodiment, grounding, mindfulness, resilience, self confidence and an inner sense of safety. Telehealth is an effective and convenient option for those with busy schedules, transportation barriers, physical limitations, or those who simply prefer to meet from the comfort of home. I will work with you to better understand past events and discover inner strengths so you can become an agent of change in your own life and foster greater emotional, cognitive, and relational wellbeing. We will collaborate to develop the nervous system capacity and resilience needed to overcome challenging situations and to more fully enjoy your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we each have the inherant ability to heal but we lose touch with this capacity due to experiences that disconnect us from our bodies, nature, and our sense of community. Because of this, we forget how to tap into our internal wisdom and healing resources. I'm here to help you reconnect to a sense of safety, to yourself, your environmant,your body, and to others. The foundation of counseling is in the therapeutic relationship. I aim to provide a safe space free of judgment for you to share your story. While you are the expert on your own experience, I can help you clarify and develop more self-trust by listening to your body and mind to develop a deep sense of self respect and inner safety.
